Let it snow!
Since I moved to Tarija, the weather had been pretty mild despite the winter season. However, 'surazo' came and it started snowing. That was a rare sight in the city and a first in 65 years!
Around lake Léman: Vevey, Yvoire, Nernier, Nyon & Geneva
Solo trip to Lucerne
Lucerne (and its surroundings) seem to have been taken out of a fairy tale. With its elegant buildings surrounding the clear lake, Lucerne is a Swiss jewel!
Although I had been here when I was younger, I didn't remember much except for Lucerne's famous Kapellbrücke (the wooden bridge with flowers all over).
Biking along lake Léman
I only have a month left in Geneva before I move to Tarija (Bolivia) for good, so I decided to take on one of the things on my bucket list: biking along lake Léman!
Tarija & La Paz
The time has finally come and I´m back in Bolivia!
It´s been 3 months since I visited the country for the first time and I've had a chance to relax, discover some amazing places and network for my next chapter in life here.
Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Avaroa (II)
After visiting Salar de Uyuni and entering the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve, we set off to explore all the wonders in this Reserve. The geysers, lagoons and volcanoes left us speechless once again. Make sure to include this landmark in your bucket list when traveling around Bolivia!
Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Avaroa (I)
After visiting the surreal Uyuni salt desert, we headed south towards the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve. The beautiful landscapes in this remote part of Bolivia surprised us even more with lots of wild animals, unbelievable rock formations and active volcanoes.
First impressions of Bolivia (II): Tarija
Generally speaking, the city is a bit messy and with street dogs everywhere, but the pace is slow and the climate and wine make it enjoyable. We already found an apartment here, including a swimming pool so I think we'll have a good two years in Tarija!
Jordan (part VI) – Ajlun castle, Umm Qays & Jerash
During the last leg of our trip, we visited the castle of Ajlun as well as the ruins in Umm Qays and Jerash. The latter was the perfect way to end our visit to Jordan!
