Switzerland

Located in central Europe, Switzerland is a wonderland for nature and chocolate lovers alike. Famous for its high peaks and dazzling likes, this expensive country is a great destination and has so much to offer.

I lived in Geneva from 2017 to 2019 while I worked for the United Nations there, so I traveled my fair share throughout the country.

Have you visited Switzerland? How did you find it? Let me know in the comments below!

FOOD IN SWITZERLAND

If you´re into cheese and / or chocolate, welcome to your food heaven!

When it comes to chocolate, Switzerland is a paradise. The country is renowned for it and there are various brands you can´t go wrong with. My favorite was Läderach but other good ones include Lindt, Toblerone, Nestlé or Sprüngli.

In terms of cheese, the country is famous for the Gruyère, Emmental, Tête de Moine or Vacherin varieties. The delicious fondue is typically made of some of these.
