  • Currency: Canadian dollar in Canada or US dollar in the USA ($). Check the current exchange rate for each currency here.
  • Language: in addition to English being spoken in both Canada and the USA, French is also an official language in Canada.
  • Best time to visit: if you’re into the cold and winter season, North America will be your paradise since it’s a perfect location for skiing and cozying up by the fireplace. Canada and the northeastern part of the USA are known for their harsh and snowy weather. In case you’d rather visit taking advantage of milder temperatures, then explore North America during the spring and fall season.
  • Fun fact: Death Valley in California is the lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level.
