Things to do in Montreal: a complete travel guide
Montreal (or Montréal in French) is often described as North America’s most European city, and after spending a weekend there, I can totally see why. From historic streets and leafy parks to incredible food and vibrant neighborhoods, the city has a charm that really surprised me — I actually found it more atmospheric than Toronto. I visited Montreal in the fall, when the foliage around Mount Royal was at its best — and even the rainy weather couldn’t dampen the city’s inviting charm. In this detailed travel guide, I’ll walk you through the best things to do in Montreal, what to eat, where to stay, how to get around and a few great day trip ideas. At the end of the post, you’ll also find a Montreal map with all the locations mentioned here.

Fall in New York
I'm just back from another great weekend in NYC and I never seem to have enough of exploring the city that never sleeps. Fall in New York was absolutely beautiful! This time I walked in Manhattan from West to East, hence discovering the West Village and East Village as well as everything in between, including the Greenwich Village. A fall getaway in Virginia
A few days before celebrating my first Halloween in the United States, I went on a weekend getaway to Virginia with three other friends. We spent that couple of days enjoying walks in the middle of nature in Shenandoah National Park, cozying up in our wooden cabin and soaking up all things autumn including pumpkins and colorful leaves.
