Exploring the ruins of Tiwanaku
Tiwanaku, also known as Tiahuanaco or Tihuanaco, is located some 76kms from La Paz, making it the perfect day trip. Home to a legendary yet mysterious civilization, it is worth exploring this UNESCO site of ancient ruins near lake Titicaca.
Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Avaroa (II)
After visiting Salar de Uyuni and entering the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve, we set off to explore all the wonders in this Reserve. The wildlife, geysers, lagoons and volcanoes left us speechless once again. Make sure to include this landmark in your bucket list when traveling around Bolivia!

After visiting the surreal Uyuni salt desert, we headed south towards the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve. The beautiful landscapes in this remote part of Bolivia surprised us even more with lots of wild animals, unbelievable rock formations and active volcanoes.
Salar de Uyuni
Salar de Uyuni, located amid the Andes in southwest Bolivia, is the world’s largest salt flat. It’s the legacy of a prehistoric lake that went dry, leaving behind a desertlike, nearly 11,000-sq.-km. landscape of bright-white salt, rock formations and cacti-studded islands.
