Coming back to NYC with the UN
This summer I had to travel to NYC for work quite unexpectedly. It was a short trip to attend some meetings with the UN, among which was the High-Level political forum on sustainable development.
Kingman Island Bluegrass and Folk Festival
The Kingman Island Bluegrass and Folk Festival was one of the things in my bucket list before leaving DC. This festival is the city´s largest all-local music benefit in support of Living Classrooms of the National Capital Region.
DC discoveries: National Arboretum

Family reunion in NYC
I was in NYC last weekend because my cousin came to visit New York and we met there. We really enjoyed exploring the city together!

An ‘unpresidented’ weekend
What an 'unpresidented' weekend it was! I have to admit I did not attend any of the big events these days in Washington DC, nor Trump's Inauguration nor the Women's March.
Instead I decided to stay at home and declutter my apartment - see related post here.
