A short walk from San Ángel lies Coyoacán, a bohemian district of Mexico City known for its cobbled streets and colonial architecture.

The long Francisco Sosa Avenue, surrounded by charming corners, leads to Plaza Hidalgo, the heart of the neighborhood.

Intellectuals, artists and hippies flock to the Frida Kahlo Museum and the León Trotsky House Museum, as well as to art galleries and colorful artisan markets. The chic outdoor cafes sit side by side with quiet ice cream parlors along tree-lined streets.
