10 series & films to travel while binge-watching
During these pandemic restricting times, I believe it is fair to say we've all had our fair share of staying at home. Luckily, entertaining platforms such as Netflix, HBO Max or Amazon Prime made the task easier. Since we couldn't really travel anywhere, they brought travel to us through series and films. Here is a selection of my favorites to explore the world while binge-watching. Follow along!
Kingman Island Bluegrass and Folk Festival
The Kingman Island Bluegrass and Folk Festival was one of the things in my bucket list before leaving DC. This festival is the city´s largest all-local music benefit in support of Living Classrooms of the National Capital Region.
DC discoveries: National Arboretum
Today I finally went to the National Arboretum with a couple of friends.
This place had been on my DC wish list for a long time but I had not managed to visit it up until now that I am about to move to Geneva in Switzerland.
Sackler Gallery & National Museum of African Art
Here I am again with another episode in my 'Friday Discoveries' series, including some cool museums located in Washington DC.

An ‘unpresidented’ weekend
What an 'unpresidented' weekend it was! I have to admit I did not attend any of the big events these days, nor Trump's Inauguration nor the Women's March.
Instead I decided to stay at home and declutter my apartment - see related post here.
Hippy Halloween
I had so much fun this past Halloween. On Saturday night I went to a Halloween party with my friends and I decided to recycle my own clothes in order to become a hippy in full style. I also went for a walk around Mt Pleasant and Georgetown to check out the Halloween decorations.
Visiting Mt Vernon
After our unsuccessful attempt back in January 2015, this time I made it and I managed to visit Mt Vernon,
Mount Vernon was the plantation house of George Washington, the first President of the United States, and his wife, Martha Dandridge Custis Washington.
