My 2024 trips: a year in review
Another year is about to go by, and it's time to reflect on the destinations that I visited this year, and to start dreaming about the ones I'll be exploring in 2025. Even though 2024 was quieter in terms of travel compared to previous years, I still had my fair share. Here's my year in review, including my tentative travel plans for the upcoming year!

Despite being the smallest province in Spain, Guipúzcoa has a lot to offer. An excellent way to discover it is by visiting its multiple museums, that range from displaying elaborate sculptures, paintings and garments to even ancient artifacts. Camino de Santiago: hiking from Irún to Deba along the ‘Camino del Norte’
For centuries, the 'Camino de Santiago' has been a captivating experience for people taking on this pilgrimage route. During three days this summer, I had the chance of joining some friends along the first stages of the Camino del Norte, from Irún to Deba. Keep on reading to learn more about the Camino, our hiking itinerary and some tips that might help you plan accordingly. Around the Irún area with my in-laws
After visiting Córdoba and Priego de Córdoba with my in-laws and some family friends, we all came to Irún, my hometown in the Basque Country. We spent a few days here altogether, enjoying great food and sightseeing lovely places such as Getaria, Zumaia, San Sebastián, Lesaka or Hendaye. Curious to know all there is to see in this area?
Back home for Christmas
It's Christmas time already and we're about to move on to a new decade, so exciting! I spent a few days back home, unwinding, eating a lot of delicious food and spending some quality time with my beloved ones.

It was great to be back home for some birthday celebrations including my own. As you will see in the next few posts, the stay was short but intense!
