I was in Oxford again this weekend and we explored a bit outside of Oxford this time around: Blenheim Palace and Woodstock.

We spent Saturday at Blenheim Palace, just 30 minutes away from Oxford. The Palace is notable as the birthplace and ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill. Today, the Palace is home to one of the most important and extensive collections in Europe, which includes portraits, furniture, sculpture and tapestries. It is the principal residence of the Dukes of Marlborough.

We visited the Palace and walked around its vast gardens. In the evening, we visited Woodstock, which is next to the Palace. I really loved this village and look forward to going back again!
