While we were back home, I took the opportunity to show my boyfriend around some places he didn’t know yet.

This time we went to Hendaye, Socoa (in Ciboure) and Biarritz, some of my favorite spots in the French Basque Country.

We started at the beach in Hendaye and drove along the coast (Corniche) passing by Socoa and finishing in the very chic Biarritz. I love driving this route as the views are always incredible, rain or shine.

When we got to Biarritz, we ate a traditional talo (similar to a traditional corn tortilla)  at Talo à bouche, we walked next to the beach until we reached the majestuous Hôtel du Palais and grabbed a moka coffee from a very cool cafeteria called Milwaukee Café.
