Description
Savannah was one of my favorite stops during my first big road trip in the USA.
Located in the state of Georgia and established in 1733, Savannah has earned its reputation for beauty and sophistication thanks to its lush parks and elegant residences. The city is covered with Spanish moss and was designed on a grid with small squares to deter invaders. Today these squares are filled with statues and fountains, frequented by visitors riding on horse-drawn carriages.
