Foodie winter recipes
Surviving winter (and the flu) can be tough. That is why I would like to share some of the recipes that are hopefully helping me transition back to my healthy self.
- Onion soup: when I can’t inhale because of a bad cold, I usually chop some onion and put it next to the bed. The onion will help you clear your nose and you can use it for your onion soup afterwards!
- Thai soups, such as Tom Yum: chili is your friend as spicy food helps reduce nasal congestion.
- Ginger tea with lemon and honey: my personal discovery during this flu season although I’m sure I’ll keep drinking it after I recover.
