During the last leg of our trip, we visited the castle of Ajlun as well as the ruins in Umm Qays and Jerash. The latter was the perfect way to end our visit to Jordan!

Wadi Rum (The Valley of the Moon), depicted as Mars in several Hollywood feature films, is an Arabian fairy-tale waiting to be discovered. Home to nomadic Bedouin tribes, Wadi Rum is a a quiet getaway of stars, sand, and sun. Heading now to the second leg of our trip: the world famous Dead Sea, the holy site of Mount Nebo and Madaba, the city of mosaics!
We finally made it to Jordan! I had been dreaming of coming here since my boyfriend suggested the idea. We spent the New Year holidays and it couldn’t have been more magical. Follow our itinerary throughout this Middle Eastern country starting in Amman!
