Each year, on the first Saturday in December, the most popular sporting event in Geneva takes place in the old town : the Escalade Race. This event is for everyone – famous international runners to beginners, children and adults alike. Some people even dress up! This Sunday we went on an unforgettable train journey from Montreux to Interlaken on board of the vintage Goldenpass Railway. We spent a wonderful Saturday having wine with friends in an area by lake Léman close to Lausanne known as the Lavaux Vineyard Terraces. The weather was lovely and this was the best way to say good bye to summer.
